Why I chose NLS data

The NLS cohorts combine detailed information about respondents' experiences in the labor market with a wide variety of other variables. The inclusion of ability measures was essential to my work on employer learning and statistical discrimination. My recent work has relied on information about height and weight in the NLSY97.
