What I learned from NLS data

The NLSY79 data revealed how strongly health limitations in adolescence predict health in mid-adulthood. In addition, the NLSY97 showed that mental/emotional health problems, more so than physical health problems, seem to decrease educational attainment, highlighting the importance of understanding different dimensions of health early in life.

Why I chose NLS data

The NLS series is a rich source of high-quality panel data perfect for my interest in understanding how health and educational attainment influence one another from childhood, adolescence, to adulthood.
